Active Fresh Blue Technology is a concept being used in refrigerators to help increase the nutritional value and shelf life of vegetables and fruits. It is done by the use of utilized photosynthesis produced by LEDs with different colors.

Now, this concept is being studied to be applied in a fruit bowl. The effect is expected to be like in the Folio refrigerators. This way, even if you leave your fruits uneaten for a number of days, they won’t be rotten and get spoiled right away. But like I said, this is still on its experimental stage. There is no price or release date yet.

If this project becomes successful, it would really be worth buying. This BLUE bowl might not be able to preserve your fruits forever; still you can enjoy them for a longer period of time.
